An adequate use of time


I have been the proud owner of a blog for quite a few years now, and despite the inactivity on it, I have grown quite attached to it. Faced with the moral dilemma of wanting to share a particular one of these blogs with people, but valuing my privacy, I made the executive decision to delete my previous account and make a new one. I now find myself at an impasse. I wish to go back to my previous account, which was unknown to the people in my life. I feel now like I deleted it rather hastily. There was no need for that; I could have just made a new one without getting rid of its predecessor. But anyway, since I do not have any more email IDs left, I think I shall continue writing here. I don’t expect many people to look into this blog anymore anyway.




If you are somehow reading this, I would recommend a better use of your time. This stuff is going to be rather dull.

   I thought it would be hard to write this, but surprisingly, the words came out quite naturally. Farm

  “I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody's around--nobody big, I mean--except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff--I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. Dear diary

  I spent the day with my parents and my dog. I ate very little and very normal food. I did not talk to or meet anyone special. I did not listen to my favourite songs and did not watch my favourite movies. It was quite an uninteresting day, but I didn't mind it very much. I noticed the green in the trees more, listened ardently to people walking by, I even tried my best to throw in a joke or two every once in a while. The day was far from ideal, but let me walk you through it, since there isn’t much else to do. I assembled a couple of chairs and a makeshift wardrobe for my parents, which mostly felt good but also served as a grim reminder of how weak and scrawny my hands had become, nevertheless I finished it successfully and now a wonky wardrobe stands proudly where there once used to be space to move around.
